The rules
- Draw a line to join each pair of matching letters, going sideways or up and down.
- Lines can't cross or share a box, and together they must fill every box that isn't crossed out.
- A line can't split, make a loop, or go through another pair's letter.
Two worked examples
Draw A through 1-4-5-2 and B through 3-6. This covers all 6 boxes. Using A:1-2 and B:3-6 would leave boxes 4 and 5 empty.
Draw A through 1-2 and B through 3-6-5-4. B takes the longer path, so all 6 boxes are covered. A short path works only if the other paths cover the remaining boxes.
Playing it in Quirk
Tap a letter, then drag or tap box by box to draw. Go back the same way to erase.
Use Lines and notes to draw, erase or rule out lines for your chosen pair.
Tip: Undo and Reset keep the same board whichever letter you start from.
